The ERP Rubric - How to Gauge Your Idea’s Potential
The best way to evaluate the potential of an idea at the earliest stage is to figure out how easy it'll be for you to get "reps" solving the problem. We've had a few podcasts on this idea, and have built out a framework for you to run ideas through.
The problem (idea) you'll be successful with is the one you're able to practice solving the most. If you're uniquely positioned such that you get to practice this idea way more than other founders, you'll be way more likely to build something that makes a dent. That's what the ERP tests for.
Create a duplicate in Notion (directions are in the doc) and run as many ideas as you'd like through it. There's an example idea in there to show you how it works.
